Interior Focus: Lighting Collections

Lighting is a vast and vital market within the cruise interiors industry. Ornate, impressive chandeliers can elevate any room to the epitome of class and glamour, while interior downlights offer a practical solution to narrow corridors lacking light. Combining function and style is paramount in the cruise interiors industry, with guests wanting the feel of a contemporary hotel even in the midst of the Atlantic Ocean.

Our lighting exhibitors will be showcasing products to satisfy the cruise industry’s diverse lighting needs, from practical safety-serving solutions to custom-made, characterful designs.



Beadlight Ltd

Founded in Britain in 1997, Beadlight is a manufacturing company focusing on design, quality and, safety. Specializing in LED lighting, Beadlight regularly supplies to the maritime industry, whether that be luxury private yachts or commercial cruise liners.

According to Beadlight, a popular lighting option in the marine industry is the leather covered flexible stem light. However, slimline, compact, and ambient lighting options are all available to purchase.

At the expo Beadlight will be showcasing their latest Reading Light collection. The display will show a range of lights from their Compact Discreet Bedhead Lights, such as the Sirocco (pictured left) and Zephyr (pictured right), to the ultimate Flexible Cirrus (pictured middle) and Jet Stream stem lights. Beadlight have designed and manufactured the Ultimate LED Reading Lights, creating the perfect glare free environment.

Chelsom

Since 1947, when the company was comprised of just Reg and Kay Chelsom and a small antique lighting shop in Blackpool, Chelsom have taken pride in creating quality decorative lighting. Now the global family business satisfies diverse lighting demands within the international hotel, cruise ship, and commercial contract markets.

More recently, Chelsom worked on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas (pictured), providing over 600 fittings covering 74 different designs. Supplying the majority of the public area lighting means meeting both the designers’ creative vision and the operational requirements.

Currently, Chelsom are involved in the process of creating Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, the Celebrity Edge. Working in tandem with the design team at Kelly Hoppen and shipyard STX France, Chelsom have supplied a range of stunning custom lighting creations, including custom feature chandeliers, wall lights, reading lights, and floor lamps. Channelling the ship’s neutral, chic scheme, Chelsom have also provided statement centrepiece chandeliers for restaurants, the on-board spa, and lounges. Additionally, fittings for the Celebrity Edge’s innovative Magic Carpet (a huge glass elevator restaurant), have been supplied by Chelsom.

DAMPA

Priding themselves on their “quiet Danish design”, DAMPA provides a range of integrated light fittings to the marine sector. Offering sustainable solutions is a key factor in DAMPA’s design process; by working with recycled and recyclable materials, they are able to create environmentally-friendly products with a lengthy life-span.

Built-in light fittings are designed to integrate both aesthetics and function, with several options available including LED clip-in light fittings and decorative lighting.

DAMPA will be exhibiting at booth 510.


Green Furniture Concept

Working to provide sustainable design for public interior landscapes, Green Furniture Concept supply unique lighting solutions to universities, retail facilities, ferry terminals, and other public spaces including hotels.

The Leaf Lamp Series is an acoustic lighting solution, specifically designed to mimic the organic design patterns found in nature. Ensuring sustainability, the Leaf Lamp is comprised entirely of natural materials that offer flameproof and sound-absorbing qualities.

Savage Lighting

An established British-based company, Savage Lighting specialize in designing and manufacturing high quality lighting products to the Superyacht industry.

Exterior, interior and security lights are all available, whilst in-house designers are on-hand to create commissioned pieces. Additionally, you can make use of their lighting design consultancy service, whereby the client works with Savage Lighting’s project team to create bespoke lighting solutions.

Savage offer a range of decorative wall lighting solutions (pictured), designed to showcase bespoke solutions for the UAE market sector. These custom lighting solutions have been made specially to meet architectural, design, and decorative requirements, whether onboard a yacht, large vessel, or in a hotel. Savage use only the highest quality finishes and materials, along with the latest LED technologies to create outstanding lighting performance.
